PIEP Joins National Arts Month 2023: Celebrating Resilience in the Built and Design Environment
The Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners, Inc. (PIEP) is proud to participate in the celebration of the National Arts Month 2023, organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP). This collaborative effort includes other allied professional organizations in Architecture and Allied Arts, such as the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) and the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA).
The theme for this year’s National Arts Month is “Saan Ka lulugar 2023: Resilience in the Built and Design Environment.” PIEP is excited to contribute to this celebration, which highlights the significant role of arts and design in promoting cultural heritage, sustainability, and resilience in our built environment.
As part of our participation, PIEP invites all its members to visit our booth located at the 2nd Floor of the Metropolitan Theater in Manila. The booth will be open today, February 27, 2023. By dropping by, members will have the opportunity to engage with fellow environmental planners, learn about the latest developments in the field, and explore ways to integrate arts and design into their practice.
In addition, we have an exciting surprise for our members! By visiting our booth, members will also have a chance to win a 2022 PIEP National Convention Commemorative Laptop Bag made out of abaca. This unique and eco-friendly bag serves as a symbol of PIEP’s commitment to sustainable practices and the integration of local materials in design.
The National Arts Month celebration provides a platform for PIEP members to showcase their expertise, creativity, and passion for environmental planning. It is an opportunity to collaborate with professionals from different disciplines and contribute to the broader dialogue on the role of arts and design in shaping our communities.
PIEP encourages all its members to take part in this celebration of arts, culture, and design. Let us come together to celebrate the beauty and resilience of our built environment and to explore innovative solutions that promote sustainable development.
Join us at the National Arts Month celebration today and let your voice be heard in shaping the future of environmental planning in the Philippines!
