PIEP Negros Oriental Chapter’s Successful General Membership Meeting and Election of Officers
The PIEP National Board is thrilled to extend its warmest congratulations to the PIEP Negros Oriental Chapter for the successful conduct of its General Membership Meeting and Election of Officers. The event took place on February 23-24, 2023, at Royal Suites Inn in Bantayan, Dumaguete City, and marked another milestone for the chapter.
Under the capable leadership of Chapter President, EnP. Jocelyn Gongob, the General Assembly re-elected the same set of officers for the term 2023-2024. This achievement reflects the trust and confidence of the members in their current leadership team, who have demonstrated their dedication and commitment to advancing the goals and objectives of PIEP.
The National Office was well represented at the event, with the presence of National President, EnP Maria Ana Pulido, National Auditor, EnP Patrick Jerome Guasa, and General Manager, Jaspher Aguilar. Joining them were distinguished guests, including PIEP Western Visayas Charter President and NHA District Manager, EnP Claire de Lune Villanueva, and former PIEP National President and member of the College of Fellows, Atty. Saviniano Perez, Jr. Their presence served as a testament to the significance of the occasion and the unity within the PIEP community.
During the General Membership Meeting, EnP Pulido provided updates from the National Board, sharing important information and insights regarding PIEP’s ongoing initiatives and future plans. The meeting also served as an opportunity to recognize the dedication and commitment of the chapter members. EnP Pulido personally awarded Certificates of Membership and conducted a pinning ceremony to acknowledge the valuable contributions of the chapter members.
In a special moment, EnP Pulido presented the Plaque of Recognition to the Chapter, commending and recognizing the exceptional efforts and contributions of EnP. Jocelyn Gongob. The plaque serves as a testament to her outstanding leadership and instrumental role in the success and accomplishments of PIEP during Term 2021-2022.
Continuing the engagement and learning experience, on the second day of the Chapter GMM, PIEP organized a visit to the multi-awarded Material Recovery Facility of Dumaguete City. The visit provided valuable insights into sustainable waste management practices and offered an opportunity for the chapter members to witness best practices firsthand.
