PIEP Strengthens Collaboration with Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP)

In a significant meeting, EnP Maria Ana Pulido, the National President of PIEP, had a fruitful discussion with EnP Aileen Leycano, the Executive Director of the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP), to explore potential collaborations between the two organizations.

Several important topics were deliberated, including PIEP’s position paper on the proposed National Land Use Act, the possibility of capacity-building training programs in partnership with ULAP and local government units (LGUs), and the invitation extended to ULAP National President and Hon. Dakila Carlo E. Cua, the Governor of the Province of Quirino, to serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming PIEP National Convention 2023.

During the meeting, EnP Leycano was also presented with her PIEP Certificate of Membership by the National President herself, further cementing the growing partnership between the two esteemed organizations.
